Note that the ranges below are given for sustained wind speeds only and higher gusts may occur within or outside of the time periods listed. In addition, due to the uncertainty and chaotic nature of tropical cyclone movement and intensity it is recommended that this wind potential table be used for planning purposes only and not verbatim.
